English Bluff is a warm, welcoming IB PYP elementary school with knowledgeable, caring and professional staff, enthusiastic students and supportive parents. Contributions from our Parent Advisory Committee continue to enhance educational programs, support field study, and encourage extracurricular opportunities. I am very proud to be part of a team that is invested not only in providing a challenging academic program, but also in fostering well-being and community building.
We are a small community-minded school with the aim of creating an inclusive environment that nurtures both individual student potential, while at the same time, developing a broader sense of community that builds a mutual support network for parents and staff for the benefit of our children. Our goal is for your child to enjoy their learning experience at EB as they acquire the skills to be successful in life.
International Baccalaureate Program
English Bluff is proud to be a fully accredited International Baccalaureate World School for the Primary Years Program, consisting of grades K through 7th. The goal is to educate the “whole child” and create inquiring life-long learners who encompass all attributes of the IB Learner Profile.
At the core of the IB Primary Years Program are the six Transdisciplinary Themes. These themes have global significance and create a framework that encompasses all learning and provides a balance between the subject areas and learning beyond them.

– How does math help us make sense of the world around us? – How will using practical numeracy skills help us to solve everyday problems? – How do we engage in meaningful and enjoyable math?
